New interior and exterior for my Anaconda

AI is so supremely glitchy that an AI vessel, having accelerated to maximum velocity over long distances, can still stop instantly. Or, at least, fast enough to not hit the target as intended. So momentum-based torpedoes with no momentum-preserving measures (Lower TtM, maybe) do not work.

That's all well and good, to say that the new player is already disadvantaged and a little more disadvantage is just fine, but now, even if the new player is a complete genius at mining/organization/industry, and raises enough of a fleet to engage a similarly sized portion of the enemy's fleets...

A video guide to Evil Interior Decorating.

Excellent video. Little too much odd camera motion on the face views (Why?), but other than that, includes great tips. You just forgot to add that using variously-colored blocks in a single-block wall can be used to add texture or designs.

New interior and exterior for my Anaconda

I'm pretty sure that you'd actually start the end of the universe through the start of the Big Rip/Big Tear. As in, the disintegration of time, space, and the laws of physics as we know them into some new set of dimensions and rules.

That launcher also lags everything according to the report Whammy gave. It's his 100x torpedo launcher, and it would be an unbeatable weapon....if only it was usable on a server.

Planned AI movement for better dogfights

Bubble shields were tested and rejected a long time ago due to the lag they caused.

      Missile Failure.

Calm down a bit. Right now, crew mechanics haven't been put in yet. No shipboard weapons should target players (At least not locking missiles and the like). Yes, M-M targeting friendlies is OP. That said, I'm not certain on that. I know for a fact that M-M swarms will go for neutrals, and they...

Something that rhymes with "Harris Class Frigate"

Actually, the AI targets instantly, no matter the weapon system. OP as it gets, really.

Something that rhymes with "Harris Class Frigate"

Yeah, vertical/horizontal/reverse launching all works fine with any missile system.

      Missile Failure.

Wow, little bit over-the-top there? There's a reason it's got such a serious disadvantage---at 100% effect, one missile-missile launcher will fire ten missiles! TEN! AMS goes nuts facing that many missiles. Swarmers are the weapon-of-choice for titans that can't turn and need no backup, because...

      Heatsinks, Cooling and Heat Management

Bit complicated. Also, exploitable beyond belief in some ways. In my opinion, heat management should be folded up into the detection systems of the game. I have system that I don't feel like typing out again, but it results in heat being inconsequential, as it's folded into EM radiation. Solar...

      Missile Failure.

Missile-missile combos are SUPPOSED to work like that, indiscriminately killing everything and everyone.

Yes, there are ways to make a self-guided reliable warhead torpedo. Let me refer you to this man: Dr. Whammy, the self-made logic-powered torpedo massacre man. He makes some better torpedoes, but the simplest use a logic clock, hooked to a push-pulse computer, a BOBBY AI, power block, thruster...

      Technology Progression

A 10% bonus means that an enemy now needs only 10 cannon modules to defeat you, not 11. Oh, and they only need 90% of your power requirements, as well. And they have 110% of your shields, with 110% of your regen....with the same number of blocks. Multiply by any integer or percentage you should...

Planned AI movement for better dogfights

AI needs massive improvements regardless. But spaceships don't work like planes. That said, yes, they likely would come closer to their opponents to increase the chances of a hit. Larger vessels would stay closer to maximum weapons' range.

      Biological components please!

My basic idea for the stomach/energy-producing organ is to have one that provides more energy the larger it is, and also processes materials faster the larger it is.

      Debris Entity

Players are in the same category as mynocks. Cue crummy Star Wars insult reference.

      Biological components please!

Yes, but that should have its own disadvantages. Inefficient power? Or will the simple disadvantage of needing the different type of blocks (That cannot be repaired by the biomechanism, instead requiring multiple types of support infrastructure [Shipyard]) be enough to keep things balanced?
    19. Madman198237

      Biological components please!

They don't need to be extremely effective armor tanks, they should just have the natural ability to shrug off certain types of damage better when built right....unless we want some sort of biological shielding system...which would be unnatural. Maybe a magnetic-field-generating metallic organ...

      Biological components please!

Using a factory to create biomass, to create basic bio-components. Bug off, I'm too tired to make sense ;)
