True, but you can have long-ranged turrets on the shadowed side, whilst the sun protects the other one. But I guess LRTs are not considered part of beginning... xP

I suggest you build a base as close to a sun as possible, it deters enemies.

Fly to someone's station and say you bring free pizza, then blast them to bits with colored missiles!

I am wondering if anyone has suggestions for good Star-Made servers where you are allowed to surprise attack enemies, and has rules about being nice in the chat. Thanks! :)

Just a pretty simple suggestion: Add a channel named Local Channel, if you type into it it will transmit to players within a 30 meter radius. This would be helpful for communication for ship-building businesses, asking questions to nearby players without needing to add another channel, etc.

Very nice idea! This would be very helpful for when a faction moves its base to another location, they could move all the inactive troops to it with ease! I really support this idea, maybe you could pick up enemy ones if they aren't faction protected? Maybe AI simulation is sped up by 10* if...

Make forcefields in every color of the rainbow!!! I really want to be able to have forcefields fit into certain themes better (green and purple alien-like) :P

I don't even know. They turn pretty slow, and the collision detection seems less buggy than when I tried before. Someone on here actually knows about original Bionicle... Whoa :eek:

I believe steam would be really cool, but maybe instead of a particle it could be in a block form. Lots of Minecraft mods have steams and stuff in block forms, such as Enviromine's gas that comes from burning coal ore by mistake... Some gasses could be boiling hot and harm players, possibly also...

Just wanted to reply to say: Thanks so much guys for helping the community prosper and be a safe place! :) Star-Made is my fav game, and I really love having an active forum with lots of nice people to get help from/give help to/just talk about Star-Made. :)

Add some lava under this, when an enemy is in the room (somehow, enemies get around... xP ) you could 'open' the forcefield, dropping them to a burning doom! Very useful =D

Also, for the record: I have to press T twice before it updates my unbound weapons in the menu, just to avoid any confusion that might happen later. ;)

I am going to make gears by using separate ships, I will also have a lever that is pushed/pulled by some shots on a logic loop to move a toothed bar. Any questions? :p Note: I have used gears for a sliding door before... A clock should be possible.
