Due to recent faults with my processor, my computer constantly freezes and I have to force a restart on it. Every single time my singleplayer save becomes corrupted causing me to lose everything that I have worked on that I didn't specifically save as a blueprint.
This is freaking annoying -...
I\'m getting the same glitch on my pentas on the left side of the ship. It\'s a bit frustrating - though not as much as my overclock failing and causing my pc to freeze after 10 minutes of starmade.
but Schema is already working on those 30 new weapon combinations and balancing. This will cover pretty much any idea for a weapon that is feasible within StarMade while also making room for whatever he sees fit to implement in the future - exponentially adding more combinations with every new...
With a changelog of 327 entries, something had to go wrong eventually. That was a really large update, but i\'m sure Schema will find out what\'s wrong with that, assuming he can reproduce it for a bug report.
for EVERY player who ever joined that server.
Meaning that you would have to create a map of all blocks in the universe and a table with all players who have ever logged into the game. With every new block, the map would have to expand and with every new player, the entire map would have to be...
I have no stability issues as far as I know. But almost all of the updates are supposed to improve the performance of StarMade. That\'s what I got from reading the changelogs etc.
EDIT:
So I switched off shadows and I am now getting a stable 120 fps around Capital ships....
I know they are...
Well, I'm kind of at a loss. Back before 0.1 series updates were being released for testing, I used to get 100+ FPS in pretty much any situation. Stable 60fps or there abouts on 3+ million block ships was not uncommon.
My system could even handle parking 2 titans next to each other (imagine...
Chances of me Not being in a capital destroyer at the time are fairly low..... its not very challenging to simply attack an immobile unmanned ship.
For RP purposes, if I happened to be just floating in space with no ship and had to fight that thing, id install an experimental update and then...
you need to consider the power drain of your thrusters as well. If you shoot and move at the same time, which people tend to do quite a lot, you may end up draining away all your energy and slowing yourself down as well as leaving your ship unarmed.
There isn\'t uch point in reducing the size...
Though I would like to see the turret block adapted to only operate on one axis, turning left and right but not vertically.
We can chain dock now, so in theory we should be able to make large and complex 2-tier turrets with a rotating base and an elevating barrel. All we REALLY need for that...
but.... hm, well, why not make it anyway:
Their tanks have certainly come a long way ^^
Okok, I keed, I keed - Joe King aside, it\'s a nice little replica.
I\'d like to see it once 0.1 comes out with the tetra shapes.
If you want, upload your pictures to imageshack - when uploading there, you can select whether you wnat to resize your images and it will do that so you can post them on forums or anywhere else without having to manually resize anything.
For actually linking the servers together, they used the BungeeCord plugin.
Mod changes are supported by server hosting companies, not the plugins themselves. Because you actually string together different servers, you can have different plugins on them. Because these are server-side only...
Difference between the AntiMatter Cannons, Ballistic Weapons and Rail Guns isn\'t exactly amazingly huge.
Since Anti Matter Cannons are Cannons that fire projectiles, they aren\'t lasers - they are cannons. So they already are ballistic weapons - just the projectile is a form of energy rather...
More to the point, it has some interesting features and it\'s not a flying scaffold which what most peoples idea of a cool ship is nowadays.
Good job ^^
