Wow, I completely forgot about this thread. Haven't even played SM since, for all I know everything has changed. There is no diagram for the ship I made - it's just crammed full of generators in the longest lines and largest dimensions possible. Looks like I will have to start playing again and...

It looks nice, but I'm curious as to how it would look if the bridge was more integrated into the front face of your centre mass? Those two flat gray surfaces could make a neat window :P And it would help keep a lower streamline profile of the ship. But I like it, it's pretty smooth.

Nessasio would be or should be easier to do since you can see most of the ship shape. But then it's harder because it's such an intricate shape, it would be a pain to do it well :S I think the Rebel stuff would be easy enough to make.

Sounds like a good idea. I'd appreciate something that a titan can fly into freely without worrying about breaking the server from collision lag. Then again, this gate is already big enough to fit 99% of ships in star made sideways, unless someone makes a death star or finds an effective way...
