Back on topic the mech scene is still at least slightly alive, theres never been a point where I wasn't building a mech and I'd actually have completed my second project by now if it hadn't been completely erased by a combination of SM BP corruption derp and my HDD dropping dead. As it is I'm...
But once you use a ship based weapon to push the torpedo you suddenly have something that is not only single use and weak, but also requires power and has a max range determined by server top speed.
Could you perhaps post the exact contents of your .bt files? (or better yet the files themselves) as I have also followed the steps on the wiki and always encounter some kind of error.
Last I checked, (about 2 versions ago) the under fire debuff effects all entities both up and down the chain so if the main ship is under fire then your docked entity will be counted as under fire as well.
Wow, didn't expect the thread to come back to life like this. As far as balancing goes I've got to agree with Lecic, the ability for a single warhead to destroy the amount of blocks shown in the OP (roughly 10 times the damage) would be nice without rendering it greatly open to abuse, the...
This is already somewhat the case yet swarms still dominate in one on one pvp. Their ease of use and ability to saturate PD makes them the best at everything but fleet battles and highly specialized situations. Remove the fleet battle aspect and everything else is relegated to filling those few...

I really doubt it but I hope this means Schema has actually found a way to mimic the effect of warping space-time in game. There is SO much you could do with a mechanic like that.
So apparently warheads ability to ignore shields makes them fine with their current damage. Just to make a point I took a picture of what happens when a warhead is propelled into a block of advanced hull with the usual push clock system.
Actually I lied, through the magic of clipping that's...
Calm down Cookie, I made a 70 tick/s (so a little under half that speed) during a slow lunch :p. At this point we can honestly make clocks as arbitrarily fast as we want.
I just remembered that last time this happened it was because the persons graphics drivers were outdated and consequently incompatible. So I recommend updating them and seeing if that helps.
Too many inactive members eh...
Back on topic I completely agree with kiwionthemoon, past a certain threshold there's pretty much 0 gameplay to be had. Its been said time and time again that we need something that's worth fighting over.
