      When I go into the main menu to change the sector size I see it reset to 5000 right in front of me when I click outside the test box. I'll see if I can grab a log, not sure what others are getting.

      Didn't notice it in the dev build because i just left things at their defaults but the sector size does in fact reset to 5k for some strange reason. O_o

      Planet Distance from Star Should Influence Planet Type

      There'd definitely be no ice worlds a sector away from a Blue Giant. XD Now making worlds closer to suns have more lava and other heat based things on them while further away they are more ice based would definitely make more sense. :)

      Scanner Radius.

      Changing from sector zones to actual distance would be rather useful for not just scanners but all things that have range on them. Rather than using rigid zones and not taking into account location in those zone, using actual distance would help deal with some bugs and a few other things.

      You need thrusters to increase the thrust to mass ratio. Last I heard push and pull on their own don't do it anymore when used as passives. >_> They'll still push and pull just not much faster than the ship core moves. That said sounds like you got some bugs too.

      The original plan for the min range limit was 1/4th the single jump range. Also it could be restricted further by limiting it to one jump drive computer and scanner instead of 1+. :) But yes it gets OP the greater the base jump range is and greifers would love it a tad much. I'm guessing...
