      Loadout : true, high radius missiles (esp. nukes) can clear large amounts of chaff. The key to drone chaff launching is to scatter them quickly and effectively; apart from the usual launching mechanism, you need a "desmoother" beam at minimum that adds some randomness.

      To make hostile AI (turrets) target the chaff drones - turrets only target units with a player in them or active AI. The faction module is for irritating only hostile turrets and no allied AI.

      You mean with the docking beam hitting the rack activation module? That is actually a neat idea if the beam does not just pass through (haven't tested). Even in that case though, you could have a ship-based activation block being hit by the beam, which then undocks a core to transfer the signal...

      Use overlapping docking boxes to have one projectile (dis-core-dis) per 1m of tube for maximum carnage :D That is what I will try for chaff drones (core + faction module + active AI; the minimal setup for fleet-friendly chaff)

      No way to make BOBBY use defensive effects yet. Some can be logic wired with very marginal effects (push and pull for example, and the effect is not constant and less powerful), but cloak and jam are not AI compatible for now.

      That must be a problem of the turret or ship itself then. If the AI is 100% positively active (doublecheck that), then all that could possibly be the problem is that the turret doesn't work as a normal turret either when set to "ANY" because of either line-of-sight or distance.

      It would be pretty bad if PD turrets targeted your own faction's missiles :) Otherwise a ship with point defense could not use any missiles at all.
