      I agree with this suggestion with the caveat that there should be some astronaut tool like a jump pack or harpoon reel to regain the same effect as the current super-jump. There are plenty of ships out there that rely on the super-jump just to get from one floor to the next.

      I would still assume that overheating ships will still eventually explode, so one would need to get in there and salvage those ships quick. It does make space a bit more interesting if one can find it. So the nav waypoint is a very great improvement to loot clouds that would solve that issue.
