      Hull / Shield Rebalance

The more expensive you make hull and shields, the more powerful alpha damage ships become. Alpha ships are already heavily ingrained into the meta. Currently shields and hull are choices, as they can both be substituted for other systems and other system can substitute them.

      Couple of Noob Questions

      1) sort of, there are more mats below the dirt than there are in the dirt, I don't remember if it varies in concetration though because it's easy to make a ship to mine whole plates instead of sections. 2) once again, sort of. It stores any energy that you have excess being produced and allows...

      placeable moving parts

That would be pretty hard to get into the game currently, and comes with a few odd issues about what allow as a new movable entity or no.

      Rails as Long Timer

I'm giving you this clock, it does almost exactly one minute pulses :P That being said, a 64 second timer is ridiculously easy xD

      Rails as Long Timer

It appears I was off by 20%. A clock that should have taken a minute took 48 seconds. Nope, flipflops just half signals to them, basically. It might be wise just to use a normal clock and a flipflop chain. Normal clocks (delay to not back into the delay) take one second to send a high pulse. If...

      Rails as Long Timer

I know that a rail rotator going 180 degrees is almost exactly 1 second, and that would probably be your best bet at a compact system. You could also combine it with flipflops to make longer systems with less blocks. One rotor going at 1/15 speed and 180 deg, hooked up a flipflop that goes to...

Does anyone know how to 'fix' the cube ship advantage?

When you make a ship, the front is usually skinnier than the back. (some ships are exceptions to this, in fact a lot are, but for other purposes I won't discuss those as much) Where in a doom cube it's a perfect cube. Effective armor thickness is how thick your armor actually is if it's the same...

-Odium Pact- Si Vis Pacem, Para Bellum.

It was 100% the right choice, it was a matter of confusion of who did it though. Given my non-neutral sides understanding, leaders of the factions in the pact can not kick members of a different faction than that they lead. It was the misunderstanding previously of my side that leaders from...

Nest of Orion- "Hope, Peace, Unity"

NO is now announcing an agreement by which will make the written and spoken style of the NFD prevalent instead of each own factions style. As part of the agreement, the Thryn introduced some changes that must occur to improve our linguistics. In the first week we will be replacing the soft 'c'...

Does anyone know how to 'fix' the cube ship advantage?

Cube ships have thinner armor because of the flat angle of their front than almost any other shape of ship. This means the armor they put on to be the same effective thickness as a wedge/properly designed ship put on weight.

-Odium Pact- Si Vis Pacem, Para Bellum.

In addition to what samuel said about ban evasion, you've stooped lower within the community I believe. Ridik was a clever, charming, and scary man. You're just an annoyance most of the time. Dread syndicate runs a much better operation than you faction wise, and even runs it cleanly. I pm'd...

      Jump Ships

one of them has decent charge speeds, eleven of them are one block each. It takes less than a minute to jump twelve times, that's a long way, it however takes 15 minutes to jump 24 times xD
