For some reason I can't use red standard armor in single player creative. The only way I can get it is through loaded blueprints. I can't place it using templates, area build, normal build, not in build mode, etc. It disappears upon being placed. Is there reason for this?

It's finally here! After a few weeks of doing SCIENCE the Apple Tree is ready for use! Use this ugly brick plane to invade things and brag about your new ship. Also, there's big empty space for you guys to put...
fak i flooded the bunks with rechargers
So, because I'm a nice person and TOTALLY NOT lazy or anything, I'll be intentionally leaving empty spaces for you to put whatever you want! You can add stuff in
-The front of the ship in-between the checkered pattern of the power reactors
-Some horizontal...
I'm not dead, just looking at tumblr trash instead of actually building what I guess is gonna be more of a battlecruiser than a drone carrier.

Update! I've been adding more details and a bit too much to some plates which I might remove those extras later. I've worked on the front all the way to the back and also added the left drone rack.
So I was going to work on my redbox carrier and instead got carried away and started making mini drones and will probably spend the early morning building PA related stuff except my game lags near planets so I have to test them on community stations.
I can see where you're coming from. Starmade is a true universe sandbox, and with sandboxes you can have big wars. Still though, like minecraft has redstoners and slime block builders, starmade also has many ship builders. Although it probably isn't too neccesary right now, it would be nice if...
Yeah, I can see them being a bit hard to implement. To be honest I actually prefer plate shields over bubbles. Gives a ship more good looks. Like robocraft electro plates.
NOTE: These ideas were thought up out of random and may have holes or seem too simple. This thread is up to discussion and interpretation of adding or removing some details, or changing them to make them interesting, simple, efficient, and/or easy to code in. I will be putting any other...
So I had less work to do than I thought, and managed to finish the armor plates as well as add directional thrusters with their RCS tanks. I've installed 2 more Plasma Scatters in the empty space at the top.
This is a simple turret I've made for my new ship and many to come. It's a Cannon Cannon Explosive turret that does around 900 DPS. Also, it actually has a color scheme this time. And the name doesn't have the word apple in it.

SO! It's time to reveal my plans.
BEHOLD, The Apple Tree! And more crappy writing and drawing.
This is an ambitious idea I've had for a while and I finally put it down on paper. But because I am bad at scaling and don't want to spend too much...
In singleplayer I'm trying to make a big shipyard for my next project. The problem is that the symmetry only goes so far, around 150-200 blocks or so. Where it ends I can't place anymore blocks. What's the reason for this?
The thing is though I wan't them to literally eject by push beams. I'll try and make something like that and if it doesn't work ill post it here and see if anyone can find out what's wrong.
So I'm currently about to build a drone carrier. I have some questions:
1: How do I make the ejection system? I know the basics of logic stuff, just not how to use it creatively. If anyone has a template or could show me some pictures please do.
2: How do I ensure the drones work as soon as...
