Heh.
Aside from cosmetic damage, the pirates were mostly only breaking my turrets and getting rid of shield capacitors that are useless without rechargers anyway. Hell, a hole they blew in the rear hangar door let me fly a core straight in so I could activate the turrets.
Earlier today I decided that I needed to finish my Vesta class battlecarriers after several months not playing Starmade. On my return, I was surprised to discover that half my Siberia missile cruiser's weapons were telling me they were going to be removed in the next update and wouldn't lock-on...
Who says it needs to be like the dark ages? They didn\'t having wiring then. Besides, most sci-fi includes colonies, not all of them as well developed as modern-day Earth.
Planets are there to be built on, not just for show.
Do be aware that my build style is that of \'just far enough in the future that aesthetics are a consideration\', meaning that you get boxy, angular spacecraft with radiators and warp rings and RADAR dishes and such.
It wouldn\'t be impossible for me to work on something with a different...
A number of turrets have been fitted, including the Vesta-Heavy turrets. Large amounts of hull have been replaced with lower-grade stuff that\'s cheaper. The shields should hold where the hull wouldn\'t.
If you\'re wondering why those larger turrets haven\'t moved when the smaller ones did...

faction: Earth Authority
previous bans: None.
why you want to join: To take part in Stardrift. Possibly also for the RPing.
anything else i should know: My faction\'s name needn\'t conflict with the fact that there is an \'Earth Station\' in Stardrift...
I checked, the Siberia is 2 million blocks.
She has a pretty comprehensive interior, meaning if you wanted to do a boarding operations scene in the battle, you could. As you can see, the exterior is quite detailed, so it\'ll look good on camera. It\'s also not based on anything copyrighted...
If I\'m around when you\'re filming, I might like to be in the battle scene. I don\'t have anything below cruiser size that would look good on camera though. You said no \'monstrous\' ships, do you have a block-count limit? I\'d like to know so I can see if the Siberia missile cruiser is small...
You\'re thinking of the MARAUDER plasma weapon project. It was designed to deliver not only a heat explosion, but a shower of X-rays that would pass through and disrupt the target\'s electronics like an EMP.
It\'s not neccesarily the only way of making a plasma weapon.
I noticed that you had massive D1000 arrays. I recommend that you break each of them into three sections - after about 20 blocks, their power increase rate goes down dramatically. Having numerous missile launchers each of 20 blocks is much more likely to cause fatal damage.
The fact that the front end of the Siberia has much less detailing is because it\'s supposed to look like its covered in solid armour. This is the section that people live in, after all. The Ceres\'s Command section is the same, and the Vesta\'s engine section will also be a lot more detailed...

==================================
Whew. That was pretty challenging. We finally got the Vulcan\'s communications antennae repaired after a Coronal Mass Ejection fried them. On a happy note, we can now officially...
We finished working on the Siberia! Wooo!
Numerous flaws in the Ceres\' design were taken into account when building the Pteranodon. Firstly, the Flight Deck was moved to the forward area of the Engine Section, where it recieves much greater protection. It was built with hardened hull from the...
