Was this a new world or one you already had? If it's one you already had the lag is due to the world being updated from chunk16 to chunk32. Or I may be completely off base but that's just one idea/explanation.

I really do like this idea... as one who already builds with warheads on my own ships. I put warheads in my ship by core areas, knowing that if enemy fire gets to that area the ship is already gone beyond repair to begin with. Though I'd stave off of making it a new block. It takes a lot of work...

Project is back online, I repeat project is BACK!! I found a completely up to date version and so work shall commence at once!

Local files got hit by data corruption in the OS that required a reinstall. I thought I had my starmade files but I grabbed the wrong install of Starmade as a backup. That install is nine months old. I am working with the server owners but it is very unlikely.

All projects cancelled due to mass loss of work.

Project may be terminated. I have lost all local files, and the server I used just went through a data wipe. My most recent salvageable backup is just the hull of the ship itself, no corridors, rooms, or ships. I can't recover from data loss like this.

Well actually I'm down to filling in systems and wiring up the last logic, all rooms have been built!

Default sector size, my apologies. Don't know exact dimensions yet. Though it's nowhere near a "largest ship" entry, I'm just throwing it out there. My only thing with uuber long ships is what happens if they extend over the default sector size, how does the system cope with that?

Im planning on a few Battlestars or even a station that is larger than a sector long.

Wow it's been too long. I have made more progress, but thats not what this is about. Unfortunately, my Motherboard gave up the ghost so I'll be offline until I get a replacement part. It'll be at least ten days before I'm on to work, and my excuse for not posting earlier with updates is AP...
