      Resources. How?

      It means that you can't just sit in one sector forever. It incites expansion. But yes, a universe with one galaxy you will eventually run out of resources. However, the resource pools are only drained in NPC faction territory, so they have to have every sector.

      I have this problem as well. I can only see the trading guild and pirate factions. Also, does fog of war cloud out factions? Because I spent a good hour making a jumper ship to go out and find it.

      AI module->Shoot at missiles. 2 blocks. If an AI turns invalid just have it turn off like it got shot out. A menu, especially a big and in depth one, is something that's really not in the ethic of starmade right now, with everything being block based.

      Is this not... Good? If your pilot takes a shot, it doesn't matter that it only his arm or something. It will really screw the ship. Just try to drill a hole through a computer mainframe somewhere that doesn't break it. Then make fun AI creations just for that. Some people made a computer...

      You'd still do damage, just it would do a low amount and then more and more as AHP dropped. I think AP weapons should be AP weapons, and pierce through blocks until it's piercing value dropped so it couldn't go further. So layers of Adv armor would drop the pierce value more than layers of fluff...

      Oh. Those have AHP don't they. AHP would reduce a percentage of damage taken by armor blocks based on how much[%] AHP was left. So Adv armor would only take 1% damage until 10% loss, 5% until 15%, 10:25, 20:35, 40:50, 60:50, 75:75, 80:80, 90:90, and finally 100% damage at no AHP. Maybe smooth...

      It's like why a tie fighter pilot is never a main character. They don't do anything more complex than follow something around and shoot. I wager that I could make a good 7/7/7 C/C/Exp turret that would shred your drones. Five could probably take on 20 of your drones. More if AI worked...

      But this is a straight improvement without disadvantages besides cost, which can be a big no no in game balancing. It's like having "super reactors" that cost 200 mesh but give you 10x power.       This is the only real suggested reason to have a cap ship, the 1.5 jump range isn't really that much at all. There's no advantage to doing that rather than just building a ship and keeping a HB.
