      They're practically indestructible, but once they take enough damage they stop their entity from doing anything be being armor/cannon fodder. That way you can still "knock off" turrets.

      You also need to add, like your 3 by 3 output main array, 3 by 3 PD guns. So if it's a little inaccurate then the sourounding shots might hit. Make em logic clock based too. hmmmmmm.....

      Something else to look for is a tilted system so you have asteroid belts that go in the very corners, some types of asteroids only spawn so far out from the sun in a system. For starting a new HB I would recommend buying 2-5 of every factory, a good 100 reactors, 64(for a 4by4by4 cube)...

      Why not Pulse-pulse-ion, and add ion to your main weapons? Or did he literally one shot your shields? If so he still could get away with some smaller ones of ppi instead of one large pi.
