      I don't think that placing important parts of a ship on the outside to make it easier to shoot them off is realistic. In my mind this only makes sense in lowbrow movies.

      With docked reactors, you could put cores on one end and dockers on the other end. Then aiming for the nav markers was a guarantee not to hit the dockers, even with bad aim. Also, to avoid undocking you only had to protect the area with the dockers with armor, not the entire reactor...

      Right, there are big differences between RNGs. The current system apparently uses a bad one. Also, not rerolling after an explosion event is probably a simple oversight.

      I'm not familiar with the inverted FP system. If I can dock my ship to an invulnerable station and it's still there when I log back in one or two days later, despite a massive raid that wiped out everything that wasn't invulnerable, then it's fine. Otherwise I'd only use the HB.

      Non-randomness is a bug, and should already be fixed in the latest dev builds, according to Lancake.

      Controlling multiple weapon groups with the same computer increases the power consumption for all groups by 10% per additional group. So weapons with multiple weapon groups/outputs are less energy efficient, they need more energy per block.

      Exactly. I'm glad we can type text into display blocks directly, instead of having to connect thousands of activation blocks to input ASCII code.

      There's a power penalty of 10% per additional weapon group. With 968 single block groups that would be 9 360 560 e/s for 9680 DPS (unless there's a cap I'm not aware of). Good luck powering that.
