Yep the maths is simple. Just take 50 from the total mass of the entity, divide by 5, and thats the amount of mass enhancer modules you need. Also to find out the power needed per second you just times the number of mass enhancers by 25.
As shown in the picture below glass and crystal armour wedges look dumb in large groups due to the texture thing they have going on. It would be nice to have this fixed so that windows can be entirely clear.
Behold the new Razor Turret!
Does around 40k damage/sec, fires in two 6x6 blocks. Individual shots only do about 56 damage each however so I coupled the weapon with about 25% explosive effect for more radius damage. Uses 3mil power/sec and has 200k shields in case of dire situations. I'll...
Oh yeah its gonna be a doozy to fly haha. Essentially its armament is going to be swarmers (archer missiles), with the turrets on each side so I can still fight even if I'm not looking at the target. However, its when I am looking at my target that they'll be screwed :D. Two MAC Cannons (likely...
Redoing the internals again as I wasn't happy with the weapons. Not sure if I'll post it on here as I have a lot of PvP going on in my server and its probably best if I dont give away secrets! I have a version with the same weapon systems but new better AM turrets so I may upload that one for...
I've begun building a 1:1 black UNSC Marathon Class Heavy Cruiser to use as my factions flagship. My aim is to make it extremely detailed and keep it similar to how it is in Halo. The Leviathan will have several large turrets that will be manned by other faction members, making this a multi-crew...
I get what you mean, a sort of camera shake when you are near firing weapons because of the force being emitted. It'd be cool but something that the devs shouldn't even be thinking about at this point in time, as they still have a lot more work to do on core game mechanics.
It'd be cool to have an inhibitor effect for weapons, as well as the passive system currently in place. This would allow weapons to drain warp drives with each hit after shields have been depleted.
My idea for them was to have a small docked ship with a single warp drive block precharged. In an emergency you'd run to it, hop in, fly out the tunnel and warp away.
On the server I play on I've had to make turrets to keep away motherships. Only had to use them once so far, and I highly doubt that fella is coming back after his 112mil shields vanished in one hit.
I've had to completely restart numerous times on numerous servers because of badmins and...
As much as I would love to go besieging bases, I can see a lot of new players getting obliterated by pirate factions and quitting the game because of it. Yes there needs to be a way to remove invulnerability, but it needs to also be made so that bigger factions can't steamroll the smaller and...
Yeah, depends on your ship size and shape as well as the dimensions you have set in the config for the build cube though. Would be much simpler to just click once to remove all blocks without too much messing about.
There's always alliances, if there's enough people in smaller ships the larger will be overwhelmed. We usually leave new players alone anyway, unless they do something to warrant us attacking :D
Although spending hours or even days manually filling space in with power is a heap of fun, I feel like I could be spending my lifeforce a bit better. It would be very nice to have a button that fills all empty space within a hull with whichever block is selected (think of the paint bucket...
