      And that's where server configs and changes come in, cause there are always people who don't enjoy certain things, so they turn them off. For myself I would love the immersion this would bring to the game. Yes it might make some things harder, but I like challenges.

      I think this is a really cool idea, though just as Nickizzy said there could be combinations that are way too powerful. So I think for this idea to even work out, we would need to flesh out some balancing ideas. Perhaps, for each system added the damage gets weakened.

      Use lock ons, target the turret, bam the whole weapon is now out. This way actually makes it much easier to take out weapons since its a turret. Otherwise you would have to take out the computer itself, which most place in the middle of the ship.
