Well, maybe the damage level is so small that you have to hit it a tad bit more to destroy it. Have you tried using more missles and less AMC's to get more damage per missle?
Wow, thats just unfair, I think that I'll go sulk in a corner with god mode turned on. One way that punch through could be greatly limited is by making it weaker against sheilds, you have a hull ripper (punch through), and a sheild destroyer (ion).

Agreed, maybe make it so they focus while you press a certin key or something, that would be very useful for quickly switching between shotgun arrays and focused arrays.
Yes you can, but its a real pain in the back. What I usually do is change an existing block such as a decorative block, or a hull color that nobody uses. With the new version coming out, there are more blocks to modify than before.
