      Logic Jump Drives?

      Hmm, it would be interesting to have the clock charging the jump-drive light up a row of lights to display an estimate of how charged the jump-drive should be in a perfect situation. This would allow crew on-board the ship to know when jump-drives are charged without jumping inside the ship core.

      I think ZektorSK 's point was that dark areas never go pitch-black, everything is always visible so why even bother lighting large areas unless you absolutely need to?

      This would look pretty neat if there were lasers shot from rail rockers when selected that shoot towards the pickup point and reveal some sort of flare. EDIT: Also, on the topic of lighting. Could the beacon rod light get fixed so it isn't just a white light and actually creates the beacon...

      I have a feeling that with crew, quest, and fauna updates planned planets will be playing some larger roles then. Also, Schema apparently had/has some ideas for a new way to do planets (the shape/model I'm guessing?), though "no promises".

      Agreed, also this gives me an idea. If we are going to be able to define quarters on a ship/station/planet why not also have a list of ambient sounds that you can choose to always play in that quarter under certain circumstances (such as when crew are at work, during mutiny(alarms, anyone?)...

      There have been many threads discussing this topic so far, pretty much it has been stated that wheels and such aren't very likely to be added due to all the collision handling and instead a form of hovering would most likely be added.       It would definitely be nice to have some sort of rail/axis that doesn't change a ship's rotation at all when docked to. It would be really nice for station-docking and mechanisms alike!

      Voices would be pretty cool imo, it's not like the game looks super retro and would be ruined by them. As for procedurally generated missions, I think voices could be doable, it would require quite a few files just for the pronunciation of names of stars and such though...
