      Planned Asteroid belt immersion

We must remember, though, asteroids don't only spawn inside the belts in-game. A player still in the early stages of survival can still get enough materials to make shielding and all that without going into a belt. A higher amount of damage, then, wouldn't be too bad. Players could build bases...

      Brainstorm This Planetary Shield

For such an old thread, everything the OP says is still accurate and I believe it would be a perfect system to encourage planetary ground-battles! Please, have the Counsel discuss this, have Schine discuss this gosh darnit!

Recognized Teleporter Send Small Amounts of Cargo

So kinda like the to-be-used (hopefully?) trade feature we have a widget for in the top-right corner of the screen, but for transporters? I don't see why not, if it can transport a suit and a human (or alien) then why couldn't it transport items too? You could set up some neat-o mobile shops...

      Help with texturing

Yup, definitely try slabs. We are gonna be getting some form of slab wedges and-the-like sometime too, so in the future you could upgrade easily! :) Edit: Also, those ships look awesome! Have you thought of making some smaller ones for the Official Fleets Contest? I'd love to see a style like...

      Building Beam Tool

Hmm, now that I actually think of it, this would definitely be much more ideal! Not only would it reduce (and pretty much remove) the griefing capabilities but it could also just be an update to the Astrotech Beam, no new IDs or anything. :)

      Building Beam Tool

Eh, the problem the beam is supposed to fix is the fact that you can't place blocks via the press of a button (the logic block one) or use a Build Block to edit/fix an allied ship from another one. The beam would, of course, check before placing a block whether the space in question is free or...

Recognized fleet station dock call command

It would also be neat to have a Dock At Sector command, you could tell your fleet to fly to a neutral, allied, or faction-claimed station and dock where available! Maybe it could require the docking areas and pickup points to be used on the dock, it would allow for more control over where you...

Recognized A Concept for Space Engineers-like planets

By slightly warping the 'bloxels" (which is what it looks like that Voxel Planet is doing) the game could have the center of the planet still look pretty legitimate. Wouldn't there be a molten core anyways?

I'd be using this to make racetracks, deployable turrets, and stuff 24/7 tbh! 10/10 This is why it would 'hover' a block or two above what it attaches to. :)

      Building Beam Tool

So I had a nifty idea inspired by Trekkerjoe 's Mechaplatform MKI, it's a working walker that drills holes for the legs to grab onto so that it may turn any flat planet surface into a working battlefield! Pretty much, as you walk around a whole ton there is just more and more holes and...

      Colorblind or bad light casting?

Dang, it would appear the top faces look quite the same. But it might just be my mind messing with me... Possibly a very powerful optical-illusion/braintwister? Whatever the case, I'm sure not colourblind, so you don't have to worry that you might be. ;) EDIT: Make a poll to see what people...

Read by Council SHOP_RAILS_ON_NORMAL = true

Haha, not like that. If normal shops all had rails that protected ships like home bases there wouldn't even be a reason to have a proper fight, you could literally just dock to a shop while your turrets do everything. It's perfectly fine for a player to retreat, be protected by a shop, or a home...

Read by Council SHOP_RAILS_ON_NORMAL = true

Shops have their own unique icon in the galaxy map, a player who knows their ship won't be able to win a current battle could easily look on the map, fly up to the shop, and use their rail docker in just two clicks. It would be fair if there was a way to destroy enemies docked to a shop after a...

      Read by Schine Salvaging forcefield

Someone can build a noobcube and go ramming into everything in existence right this minute, at least a salvaging tool would salvage the blocks that get rammed into, or even before they get rammed into.

Implemented Jump Down to Main Core

I think LupoCani meant that you could have the core of your ship hidden away and then dock a 'cockpit ship' somewhere else, pressing Down from the cockpit ship should bring you into the main ship. :) Pretty much a captain's chair that you go inside of!

[VOTE] Should voting for Councilors require you to purchase the game?

My answer is pretty much what Skylord said: If people are voting for councilors because they are to represent the community, those people should at least purchase the game for the right to vote as to who they think would represent the community the best.

Read by Council SHOP_RAILS_ON_NORMAL = true

I think it makes sense having it for true by default on the advanced shops, but on the normal ones? I don't really think so, it would be useful for adventurers and such but could easily be used to avoid losing a battle and is much more balanced having the rails on only the advanced ones. It's...

      Planned Asteroid belt immersion

This would be a neat little addition! Not only would it help with immersion but you would also know when you're in a belt (so good for spatial recognition), maybe there could be some strategic use (wrecking non-shielded ships quickly or something? A player could fly into an asteroid belt area to...

      Read by Schine Salvaging forcefield

So something that sucks up blocks within a radius of the output or something that requires blocks to touch the output, like a drill? Either way, this would be really cool for making working drill machines for planetary warfare or making worm-like ships for cleaning up after battles!

      Rejected Basement Universe

Oh yea, but only one wireless logic block per light block and user-input button. Don't need to have all the gates and stuff on the ship. But... I play single-player!
