Actually, what the real issue is, is how far down did he search to find this thread again? It should be buried so far under everything else, that it almost shouldn\'t exist.

So I imported some ships into maya and at first the textures and everything seem fine, but when I rendered an image, they still appeared to be transparent and the ships are also still hollow. They actually aren\'t even composed of blocks, just 2D faces around the general shape of the ship...

When I export the ships and reimport them into Maya, they still end up being hollow when I take them apart. Also, wedges would be good, as they didn\'t export and for some reason, the glass wedges didn\'t even show up in SMedit. Just regular glass blocks.

Everyone from the DFN who is worried about leaving NASS, don\'t worry. Debris said you would be moving to the Illusive server, where the NLR resides, and we will do whatever we can to help make the transition easier and setting up easier. You won\'t be starting over from scratch completely.

I believe you mean that the UAF is setting up there, not the Council.

I can confirm that the server is dead, as I used to play on it and I watched the admin slowly stop caring about it until he stopped logging in completely and hasn\'t updated it in three updates. It\'s dead.

Is this project dead, because I really liked the idea.

It\'s an Orbital Defense Platform. It\'s purpose is solely to protect the planet from threats coming from outside the planet. It\'s not mean to shoot towards the planet, which is why I then have ground defense cannons.

So, usually I like to stick to stationary objects, and just build bases, or parts of bases. However, I also realized that I would need a way to defend my home, so I decided to try my hand at a turret/orbital platform, and here is the result. So, ya, let me know what you guys think ^.^

lol thanks. I know I was pretty upset when this was happening to me, but I didn\'t think it was that much of a problem. However, after playing on numerous servers and there always being someone having this problem, I figured I should make a post about it to help everybody out.
