I suggest adding a directional block that would output a logic signal if an appropriate movement key is pressed, for example, if the ship movement output block is facing forwards, everytime you would accelerate forwards by pressing W, the block would activate. This could be useful when making...

This is a pack of ships I compiled for the "New wave" pirate ship contest. All the ships are new and never relesed before. I've purposely left some (small) weak spots to make combat against them more fun. All of the ships have larger or smaller interiors. Some of the features are not mentioned...

Armor isn't really pointless anymore, at least hardened. If you're still not happy, try adding piercing effect.
