Agreed. It sucks that when you log off while being on a huge 1000+ meter ship you get spawned miles away from in when you log back in.

So this is the first set of "Vortex" fighters. As you can see, they come in 5 variants and all have different weapon systems according to their color.

I have plans on making the connie along with its variants. Just hope there will be enought room to make fancy retractable turrets.

As far as I know, turrets only share shields with the mothership while its shields are above 50%. Not sure about other rail entities. I'd say, you should experiment.

Nice. Hopefully I'll be able to make some fighters later today. Currently my plan is to make 4 different 100 mass desings with 5 variants each so that the chance of a heavier ship (ships currently in my pack) spawning would be around 1/5. Maybe even a "boss" pirate frigate sometime much later...

Yes, you should do a whitelist. And make it survival. If you need pirates, feel free to use my pirate pack. Might be a bit too hard, and if they are, I can make some easier ones. Or just use these ones and make like 20 easy ones so that when they spawn, the likehood of spawning the hard ones is...

Well, I do see a lack of 100% vanilla servers with devbuilds (other than the official test server, but it gets wiped often from what I've heard).
