Might as well explain myself, in a fight both players tend to hold 'W' and face each other (for the typical of fights) resulting in rapid decrease in range. You probably have time to get one or two lock on missiles off due to the long reload, so might as well have that as a secondary weapon, go...

Stick some warheads or damage pulse on the front of that captured cyclops and do some real mans fightin'. Its the fisticuffs of spacecraft warfare, and fortune favors the bold! (and dashing mustaches)
Armor × Heavy 20mm autocannon = unspecialized noob-friendly chainsaw type ship that should shread anything its size.
The only specialized ships I have seen to work are control style ships with power and vector manipulators.
Oh and cloaked craft. What other kind of specialized do you really...
That last one doesn't make sense unless you show the before/after shots of someone making another station right next to it and using a 50x50x50 placer tool to absolutely cover the place (and interior) in lava
I think we should remove the power softcap on stations.
And remove the ability to have swarm logic on them. (build turrets damnit!)
Might bring us spaceforts that are viable and super tanky without being super laggy.
Shoot just forgot you cannot have passive effects on stations.
