I'm imagining the processes involved in checking if rooms are sealed and if so if they're filled with oxygen. With all of the spaces inside of some ships, that might be a little daunting. This is how weapons used to work. Emphasis on the past tense.

Have you tried this with another player? It's possible that the shields are being displayed incorrectly, which is another bug currently ingame. It'll appear (to you) that the shields have regenerated when in reality they're still down to whatever the attack left them at.

I think you need to check your attitude a little. If someone is interested in running, let them. The community will decide with their vote.

I can appreciate this but it makes certain features practically useless. See: Point Defense. Since the turrets can't lead the target worth a damn they become next to useless with intercepting missiles unless used in massive amounts.

It's easier to count friends than it is to quantify experience. I sympathize with you but inevitably some are going to be elected because of popularity.
