Fleet consists of:
-Fighter
-Heavy-Fighter
-Miner
-Freighter
-Frigate
Only the freighter and frigate have USDs due to size constraints but all ships have interiors to at least a basic extent. The fighter only has a cockpit while the frigate has a full bathroom suit and two beds. All of the...
Didn't the dress turn out to be really blue and the split was people who saw it wrongly had brains that wrongly corrected for contrast by interpreting a different colour?
Also I've seen this quite a few times with lighting. It seems most common on chunk borders like most lighting issues.
"I say double hybrid as I am attempting to build it as a both a hybrid armor/shield tank, and as a gunboat/carrier combination."
something something Chimera convention.
Starmade damage can go into decimal points, its only the damage display numbers that are limited to integers. In both cases a block of hull took exactly 75 shots to kill.
Ok a quick in-game test involving an ion target and a non ion target, and shooting them with a 1 damage cannon shows that ion effect does not make blocks take more damage.
AFAIK defensive ion does not and has never increased block damage taken. Sounds like someone making assumptions based on the ofensive effect and posting it on the wiki without checking.
I've had some success combining armor tanks with active shield tanks. Now if I only I could build something on NFD without the server overwriting my blueprint with a single core every time I log out.
Granted the handgun bullet would stop eventually but unless it goes through a nebula the universe might end before the bullet ever stops, also at no point in SM lore were cannons ever energy based.
If I were too fire a handgun in space the bullet would keep going until the heat death of the universe if nothing ever got in its way. I can't conceive of any reason for a sci fi spaceship weapon to have worse range than a modern day handgun, or for that matter a thrown rock.
You can't use real life examples to argue that bigger weapons should have longer range while simultaniously admitting that there is zero reason for some weapons to have longer or shorter ranges.
Larger weapons have greater range inside an atmosphere because air resistance causes a dropoff. in space there is no air resitance and no resulting dropoff.
Those are... all fair points actually; the only part I can really fault you on is "that isn't going to do jack-shit to the kinds of weapons that get built" which can be applied to literally any kind of defense as a justifcation for weapons being OP.
