I've seen just about every other idea for Plex Doors, but for the love of all things holy. I...constantly find myself trying to make diagonal doors.
(Which look really ugly considering I can't use any type of wedge, or it defeats the purpose of being a door.)

Did you remove the docking modules after jettisoning the turrets? Because if I recall correctly. It counts the docking area as "full" regardless of the size of, or presence of an attached object (ship or turret) For example, having one unenhanced docking module will add 7x7(49) x7(343) mass...
Whats your total mass and energy regen? (including turrets. I think it's maximum bounding box size, so a normal un enhanced dock would be 7x7x7, regardless of how big the actual turret is)

I'd assume they stations will be ready to vote on by friday. That updating submitted stations during the contest is a no, and that if the devs decide to select a station then updating/revising said station would fall into an agreement between the devs and said author of the station.
