      It shouldn't lag that much as the game refreshes itself every so often anyway, and logic only changes only occur every 0,5 seconds or higher (unless someone spams lots of activator blocks, that might prove to be problematic, but even that might not matter that much).

      I'm against the suggestion in general, and I don't mind turrets clipping, as long as they don't shoot me from the other side of a station through the station (so limit clipping by a certain amount degrees on the vertical axis).

      Maybe the power usage will get changed in the next update. Calbiri is working on a new value for salvage, maybe he'll change the way power works for salvage too.

      No, it wouldn't. All you'd have to do is code a certain angle at which turrets may maximum go down (about 10 - 20 degrees) and a maximum angle at which it may go up (180 degrees).

      I feel that this would get too complicated and that it would limit creativity. A much easier solution would just be to make turrets unable to clip too far on the relative y-axis.

      You could use the block editor in the launcher to change the texture of, for example, the decorative panels. It shouldn't be too hard to change a blocks's texture. It would of course be nice to just be able to place them on ships, but the block editor can be a nice alternative.

      Would it be better to make the turret docking (enhancer) units and blast door more expensive to have a better looking recipe tree? The increase for blast doors isn't terrible, just 30 capsules total more, but to improve the recipe for turrets I'd have to double the resource amount... Added poll...
