This needs to grow longer. Since the latest update we've got all new ways to murder each other.
Any ideas for defense stations? Tempting an idea for repelling idiots and other for repelling the determined. :)
Missile combos tend to work best for this kind of thing, same thing with beam combos. This mostly due to either close range or extreme range with lockon. It can work with cannon combos but it takes improvising.
30 degree cone coming out from the ship core position if I remember right when docked as a spare barrel on a turret. I've done this before and the only sane way to match rate of fire is for the cores to be in the same general area otherwise the firing cone of the ship docked won't line up with...

Also noticed even if the controls aren't the cause sometimes the ship will turn and move in some way on it's own. EXTREMELY ANNOYING!!!!!!!!!

Had this issue a lot when controls change when they shouldn't. Basically it's trying to roll and change modes at the same time. One way around this is to dock your ship to something.
I've been noticing my FPS tank more than normal as well. Not the best Intel comp but I could run with chunks set to 250 in view no problem before the chunk update now I can't and 100 just isn't big enough to see what I need to.
The Exclusion Range is more to stop someone from plopping all their Invincible stations in one system or within X sectors of eachother, Doesn't do anything else. As for stopping steamrolling it'd really depend on a lot of factors. I say factions that have most if not all their members offline...
All this idea really needs is a way to prevent Steamrolling of a whole faction overnight. Maybe a distance exclusion range to keep people from clumping all their Invincible stations in one spot.
Noticed that the AI can be active on parts without an AI Module when spawned under mob control and even under player control in a couple of cases. An AI Mod should be needed for there to be AI at all on a ship or docked part of it at least.

Just noticed only the front edge of the bubble is hitting the target when flying and that leads to hit or miss at best with pulse weapon using AI's. But if they came about a bubble radius closer the whole mid to front section would be hitting allowing for it to get good hits in. Just an idea...
