It's one rail that divides into two larger hangers with 5 pads in each.
The hacky part is the landing pad using (3) rail parts to detect landed ship - but it works well.
After loss of hair and breakage of ship...
(10) Pad Fully Automated Ship Docking.
- A pad goes to the top docking door
- Docking door opens
- Pad waits for ship to land on it
- Pad takes ship into hanger 2 or hanger 3
- Docking door closes
- Next available pad (no ship docked on it) returns to...
Not sure if this is a bug or a missing feature
I'm trying to dock a ship to a single rail and have it activate other logic - however when the ship docks to a single rail block the activation block does not activate to fire logic.
Is this a bug - a missing feature - or me not understanding how...
I'm not actually using the turret - I just noticed it was in the picture I posted - I don't recall what ship it is from.

But as I read the use - the enhancement is based on the Mass of the MAIN Ship - not the Mass of the docked ship - and applies to all rail systems on the MAIN ship - not a specific Rail System.
This is my understanding.

You put them main ship - but if the ship is huge you need more to make a difference correct?
I don't understand this - shouldn't the Rail Enhancers be connected to a specific Rail System and be enhancing that real system's ability to move a specific...
Which reminds me... during building my carrier I was wondering if it would be possible in the future for Star Made to Add 3D props such as chairs - weapon barrels - antenna etc elements that attach to blocks.

Yes and no... I mean right now unless you're building for RolePlaying most ships are a bunch of blocks thrown in every which way... I kind of like the idea of designated rooms that have to be a certain size based on your hull size.
So a small ship would not require rooms - but a ship yay big...
Well that's a bummer.
I was really hoping you would designate compartments within your ship and would be sized according to the stats of your ship -Areas such as weapon - life support - engine room etc - these sections wouldn't show up for you to target directly unless you scanned the ship...
Might be interesting is a running server logged in to a master server as a sector.
Or something along those lines. You would jump bascially between servers - jump gates would be offline based on server loads. Or if one was running a local server you could allow folks to jump through your sector...
