Oh dear... It's been awhile...
So... I haven't really been working on the Homeland Carrier... I was too frustrated with the docking systems as implemented so I'm just sitting on it for now....
I did get a bug to build though - so I started...
I'm curious... I like how the videos have been added.
More so - because they seem like a very cool way to add mission cut-scenes if a Campaign creation system were to be added or as a away to tag a block that can be activated to play a video related to a specific server's rules.

I started to play with the Fleet Update - but quickly became frustrated with the docking deploying system for the Carrier...
So I decided to start working on a Drydock instead...
You can imagine how big it is if the ship is 700 in length... Doh!
It's been awhile since I played... But with the Fleet Update I wanted to work on my ship docking again...
So in case anyone hits this thread again...
If you say you have a Platform docked to a large ship - and you have a fighter dock to the platform - the Mass Enhancers have to be connected to...
Late here as well.
Wondering have you considered building a prop editor - in which you could build within a 3d grid with smaller voxels and colors - if there was an editor in the game like http://www.minddesk.com/ <--- this You would just go into a mode where you build your props save them...

I have to tell you that every one one of my feature requests has been addressed in this post - I'm shocked it's a possible reality.
(Well except for a gun that let's you point and shoot docks to tracks like a glue gun in Little Big...
Can anyone confirm that camera are not looking the correct way on a rail docked core?
When I place a camera or cameras on a rail docked core structure anywhere - no matter what I do the camera's view points in the direction of the core's direction

Is there any chance in hell there will be a way to just select a docker and select the rail to dock it to - without having to be in the core?
Like a gun tool or something.
Ahhh crap.. Fired up the game and found nothing working today.
I'm assuming all my rails need to be redocked - and they're all complicated no way to easily redock without building everything all over again (example landing pads - giant hanger doors that do complex hidden movements...) Screw it...
Ships over a certain size require rooms at a minimum size (crew quarters - medical - bridge etc) and require a specific amount of crew assigned to jobs (ai or real) and of course this would require life support (basically capital ship internal gameplay)
