Why not have a timer (server sets it) that ticks and causes these updates? Maybe like every hour it would tick and do the math. (using Leasons HP and sector number idea)

Are users allowed to use bots for the purpose of digging through the forums to filter through info? Say I wanted to read every post about my faction or a certain forum member, would it be illegal to have a bot search for them?
