yes, you will still recieve alerts, just not e-mails for them

go into the 'Alerts preferences' tab on the side of where you took that screen shot, and deselect the ones from there :) EDIT: just to be a bit more clear, it is off the bottom of that screenshot, but on the same page

I was going to say, I spoke personally to duke about this and he was the one who suggested I make a thread about it. And id say 18 votes to 1 kinda shows that this is what the communoty wants :)
