When I built the halcyon as my first real ship over a year ago now, I had no clue how power or any other systems worked. So here's an upgraded and modern version with a bunch of turrets, proper shielding, two docks for my pelicans and a full-ish interior.

I second that, haven't tried a starmade server from Multiplay yet, but their pricing is usually good with some excellent discounts occasionally. Customer service, reliability and administrative control panels are all great too.
