Recognized by Council Probability based instability of natural structures

Not quite. Asteroid "regeneration" is better named "asteroid re-spawn" Once a sector is cleared of all asteroids, then un-loaded from server memory, a timer kicks in, if it's been set to do so. The instant that timer finishes? Blam, new asteroids in that sector. They appear to be clones of...

First, you've mis-spelled Brake once near the end of your concept. [/pedant] Now, as to the concept itself. Yes. This is actuallly a good thing. I know I typically set my spaceships to have, say 75% of the thrust as rotational, and only about 11% of the remainder going towards "left/right...

Recognized by Council Probability based instability of natural structures

The only kinds of "structures" that "fly off into the deep black" are Asteroids. The "solution" there is "TURN ON ASTEROID IN YOUR NAVIGATION MENU" then, target the ruddy asteroid. Not "screw over players by making asteroids "randomly" vanish mid-mining. Planet Plates are the only other...

That's actually a good idea. Then the councillors wouldn't have to go around quite as often saying that "this or that is planned allready", instead, there'd just be a stickied/pinned thread for "everything that is currently planned." From there, anything else posted should form up as "so...

Hmm. Quite possible. I'll have to poke around in the files, see it I can find what's conflicting.

While I agree with Rimmer there on the literal nature of the name "barrel roll", I allso agree with SuperWookie that the existing Roll code needs a reverting to that in version 19488 at minimum, since the code was working "correctly" in that version.

Poppycock. Balderdash. Blatant bull****. In short, that, is, a, BUG, because it means that "factioning" the planet plate is no longer working as the devs intended it to. Unless you've posted the report, and actually had it denied, then it is a goddamn bug. Go f**king report it. If, somehow...

      Recognized Change Salvaging Mechanics

Aiight gents, time to drop some knowledge on your heads. At some point in the (not so) distant past, Stations were fully salvageable. (before the crafting update even) Then the players kinda sorta bitched about asshole types eating all the derelict stations, spawning a titan with the proceeds...

Aye, that did actually clear up that issue. (and looking back, can't fecking believe I missed it. Derp on me. :p ) Some players would tend towards "balls" (mostly the munchkin types) , but not nearly as badly as I had believed it would.

... why are you guys calling the Penta a Tetra? The Penta is the cube with a corner lopped off, the Tetra is the now severed corner.

Oh NeonSturm, if only I had more than one Agree that I could give to that.

How to balance it better? I'm sorry to say that I don't have an idea at this time. I'll be mulling it over through the next few weeks, and if I think of something, I'll be certain to let you know. (but, I'm thinking that won't happen. most of my "best" ideas are spur-of-the-moment...

But they currently are not. As he did not specify "in this new thing", it meant he was asking about how they Currently work. And currently they run like a bitch the moment they realize a threat to themselves exists.

Planned Split Pirate and Trader Guild MOB Blueprints

Hmmm, did you, perhaps, forget to un-tick the "enemy useable" checkbox for all those "trade guild" designs you are using? I know how easy it is to forget to that. (not joking here, got blown up by my own dreadnoughts thrice. More importantly, yeah, I get what you're saying. We need a separate...

Trying to confuse the populace? No, a Cuboid world as initially demonstrated would have 270 degree falls. We're not travelling though the inside of the shown angle, we're on the outside of it. the current ones? 225 degrees, since, again, we're not tunneling though the intervening blocks. we're...

Pirates waves - how they scale, how they are triggered, do they work at all?

Ah, I'd forgotten to mention it. To the best of my knowledge, via repetitive testing, the "size" and/or "lethality" of the player ship is not currently used at all when pirate bases call for reinforcements. A pity, really, as a Battleship SHOULD garner a bigger, or at least "better" response...

Like a few other GUI changes that have been proposed recently, I'm glad this has been stated. The pictures actually help get your point across better than you think. And like a few other suggestions recently, I'm appalled that it wasn't made sooner.

Pirates waves - how they scale, how they are triggered, do they work at all?

Excellent points on the work-arounds, but for the quoted bits, I'll answer them in order. The "difficulty" numbers are a rating system, but since the waves are built by the server admin, the numbers only really hold meaning to the admins. The numbers can go as high as the admin bloody well...

It's more of a control thing, if the Dev team speak at all about what they're doing, and a competing game then implements it? Doesn't matter how far along the development of the "idea" was, the Dev team suddenly catch a face full of crap from the community for not getting it done, or for...
