Soo... Day 7? Hmmm... Not sure what you mean there. I wanted to try an interior first build. Hilarity ensued. So I built an interior then fell asleep (long day). I was going to slap a shell on it the next morning. I swear I was. Not gonna lie. I got a bit sidetracked. Early WIP.

Read by Council Jump effect should only occur on exterior blocks

That's what I was implying. The logic being that if you are accelerating to FTL speeds along with the craft it would appear stationary while the universe speeds past. If you aren't part of it, you see it power up and jump away.

Read by Council Jump effect should only occur on exterior blocks

Im not sure how you would differentiate the exterior surfaces from the interior. What if you only see the blue effect if you aren't aligned to the vessel that's making the jump?

Will do. Day 6 (Saturday): The penultimate vessel in this run is another TG ship; in this case, an escort fighter. The aesthetic has shifted slightly from the Cicada, but the two still work together nicely. I really like this flat but bulky look and I'm thinking about trying to apply it to...

      Need help with Turrets

I would recheck all of your computer connections and such. Are you able to rotate/aim the turret properly? The weapon/effect type shouldn't change its ability to draw power from its parent entity.

      Cicada MkI 1.0

Small freighter with 50k storage, jammer, radar, and fast jump drive. Comes standard with 6 AMS turrets and a rather lovely trade guild paint job.

Day 5 (Friday): After two pirate ships I figured it was about time throw something together for the trade guild before they put out an embargo on all of my stations. I feel like this week is helping me refine my build process and style; I'm really liking these last few ships. The Cicada.

      Renegade MkI (C) 1.0

The next step up from the Errant; Another pirate replacement. This was another speed-build, so expect updates with improved systems.

Day 4 (Thursday): Halfway there! I unwittingly created another pirate ship, the next step up from the Errant. I plan on testing out some different weapons systems when upgrading these ships, but the model that I'm releasing just has more powerful cannons (Plus two AMS turrets and 6x the...

      Errant MkI (C) 1.0

A light interceptor speed-build. Stronger weapons but slightly less armor than an Isanth (leading to better acceleration). Features a simple interior w/ airlock.

Day 3 (Wednesday): Meet the Errant, a light interceptor. Built with pirates/bounty hunters in mind. This particular model has punch-through cannons that do about 1000 dps, as well as 50% overdrive. I plan on creating other models with ion beams and missiles and using them to replace the...

Day 2 (Tuesday): The Gastropoda. A light freighter. Not as happy with this one as I was with the Vagabond, but I found a few things to like about it. I had to churn it out pretty quick last night, so the power system doesn't do too well keeping up with all the systems simultaneously...

First: Survival! Second: Going to try to do a ship a day this week. Yesterday's Entry (Monday): The Vagabond. The Drifter's little brother. An RP smuggler.

      Vagabond Mk I 1.0

A small, unarmed craft with two jump drives, a radar jammer, boarding ramp, landing gear, and full interior. This ship was designed with the smuggler in mind. This was constructed mainly for RP purposes and as such the power generation isn't the best. Thrusting and charging the jump...

New ship finished. I see it as a sort of transport/smuggler craft thing. Has a very simple interior (not much space to work with) and some useful systems. OP updated.

      Drifter MkI 1.0

A small transport craft with a variety of features packed into a small package of just over 750 mass. It is reasonably nimble and capable of chewing through hull and standard armor like wet cardboard, but is certainly no warship. Features: -Port Side USD -Airlock -Small Captains Quarters -5k...

Bug Medium Ship looks like teleporting when moving.

You might want to increase your sector size in your config file. 640 meters is really long, I think that the jumping/teleporting/lag effect might be the ship crossing sector boundaries as you move and turn. Maybe kick it up to 10km so you have some room to maneuver.

I've started throwing together some ideas for the heavy freighter. I wanna do something different (not a long rectangle with thrusters) while still maintaining an industrial look, which will most likely be done with coloration and detailing. I really want to break away from the look that the...
