Just looks like run of the mill data corruption, that happens at random. Deleting that will not remove any entities (ships, stations, asteroids...) in the universe, but it will make you return to the spawn sector, with no credits and only the blocks you started the universe with.

A game that has to calculate complex physics several times a second is going to put decent load on the CPU. There is no way around that.

The load is not insane. The game has to do a large amount of physics calculations, unlike Battlefield. I'm thinking you forgot to use thermal paste.
