I believe he said you shouldn't PvP because the server is currently in an unstable state (due to the massive several-month-old database). With the universe reset, it should be just as (if not more) stable than the other servers.

I've been here since September of 2012. I don't think there's actually anyone left around from when I started (except schema of course :P)... It has been nice to see the community and game grow from a tiny section of the internet to what it is now, though. :)
