      Just be careful about not accidentally clicking "undock all." In addition to that though, having the reset to original position button is very nice aesthetically. Sometimes you'll go out fighting pirates or something and you don't want your turrets to look like a mess when you return to HB.

      When do we want them? NOW IMO having a builder wouldn't hurt, since some building/decorative options are still being explored (chairs? chairs.) But PVP, immersion, and just general aspects in survival are being looked at more and more.

      ^ That, and missiles have really bad damage potential if you build your ship decently. Most good looking ships already have a profile that limits the raytracing blast effect of missiles, and if you build for function, spaced armor does even worse things to missiles.

      I already love flying around with a joystick for general immersion, but unfortunately unless they're given auto-aim or anything like that they will never be capable compared to a keyboard and mouse. I like pretty much everything in this suggestion though.

      I'm not sure if this applies on windows, or if it happens with adv. build, but make sure you do not have caps lock on. Caps lock does funny things to all of the menus, and I'd imagine it'd apply to adv. build as well.
