      This is not possible, because you cannot have a fast enough clock to even remotely keep up with a 100% cannon/cannon system. The best way is to fake the entire gatling part, and have a hidden cannon/cannon system behind that.

      iceman6491 sorry, but drones were developed to specifically counter large ships with turrets :p There is no way except swarmers or a proper fleet made of multiple ships.

      Speaking of chaff - once rails gets undocking we can have the most amazing chaff launchers ever. Docking them in an airtight space and using rotators to physically beat them out in random directions might be a good way to implement something similar with the new system.

      Actually I purposefully don't mean that block. It is excellent for launching drones and stuff, but you can't aim with the mouse via hotbar logic. That is why it would make sense to also have "the other way around" - player fired weapons giving off a signal.
