ok, so i did both of these things. i updated my drivers using Driver Booster, so i assume they are up to date now; no luck. next i downloaded the zip and replaced all files in my starmade folder with the ones from the zip, and again the patcher does pop up, but after pressing the start game...

i'm currently running a driver update, see if that helps. if not i'll use the link you gave. thanks in advance, guys edit: i am aware of this ;)

same thing happens with me... I've been able to play perfectly fine up to just now, i think because of something that changed in last nights hotfix. i run a 32-bit win-10, 4Gb ram, Nvidia GeForce GT 435M, etc. (i meet all further requirements) anyways, here's the log
