i think this is better than my idea and ships can still shoot at you but you cant and all players near a gateway will recive a warning saying a ship is coming through and as soon as the ship exits the part you entered from gets a explosion witch does not damage the gate but it damages the ships...

it might be cool if we go towards the path of the game FTL so we have power bars and stuff so we can like put all power to weapons or all power to thrusters so we can warp out of battle
