I've had this same problem on the ship I'm working on, however it's not all rails. Some rails seem to work fine while others lock up. I'm not on any server, I just build in single player. I've literally deleted the rails and the docked entity and remade them from scratch and they still don't...
Last time I played I scrapped my interior and started reworking the whole thing to make it flow better and generally just have a higher level of quality. Didn't really get all that much done before being dragged away to other things.
I reworked my corridors so they were a bit nicer, after all...
Completely agree. Even with max rail speed enhancer it's still slower than just normal walking speed. It's not that big of a deal for elevators but for things like trams it's a death sentence.
I want more survival aspects, like oxygen. Make ships actual ships and not just oversized remote controlled toys. Having an oxygen system would go nicely with the planned crew updates as well.
I've played starmade on and off for years now and I never leave my SP server. I get the urge to build, I tinker on my ship for a few weeks, and then I get bored and go do other things. Rinse and repeat. I'm sure a lot of people spend most of their time in SP as currently the only draw of...
Y'know, you guys exclusively talk about cloaking as the reason the power change is bad. Can't scanners disable cloaking? So what exactly is the big deal if heavier ships can cloak? I honestly do not see the issue, really. It really does seem like more of a personal preference than an actual...
Pulse seems a tad OP. I do think beams and missiles should destroy missiles, though. But with pulse you could chain it and basically be immune to missiles, at least the other weapons can miss/only hit one missile at a time.
I think starmade would benefit IMMENSELY from having SE style planets. One of SM's best features is it's scale. If you wanna make grand space ships you can and it doesn't even have that bad of a performance hit. SE doesn't allow that. Now imagine planets as large as SE's, where they have actual...
I think he meant make it so that the way light is calculated embedding the block wouldn't effect it's light output. Having a block embedded or resting on top would yield the same level of illumination.
I have to agree, it's kinda silly that a light block only lights up like two blocks away and...
Didact wasn't the only evil one, the books, terminals, and halo 5 all say that forerunners in general were oppressive assholes. Only reason they weren't full on draconian is because they had to somehow explain the previous games.
"whatever" is still them changing the lore
Cortana never thought...
I've been having this issue too. I'll watch videos from Criss or Saber when they do reviews and the ships/stations have very few gray shadow splotches yet they also have significantly fewer lights than what I'll place. Even when I upped the light to 256 it still didn't seem quite as even and...
Turning the flood into Precursor-space-meth that's made from the precursors themselves.
Making the foreruners a bunch of evil assholes who go around subjugating the galaxy through force
Making the humans an ancient empire that rivaled the forerunners and were allied with the prophets, also...
The game changed, the lore didn't. From the time it was an RTS, to when it was a third person to shooter, to when it was the FPS we know today the basic lore ideas they had remained the same, only becoming more detailed as they went along. Gameplay =/= lore after all. 343 changed the gameplay...
Just because something is new and different doesn't automatically make it good or better. Don't fall into that trap. Don't forget that the stuff I'm defending right now was, at one point, new and different. Yet I still liked it. It's easy to dismiss people's complaints with nonsense like your...
I'm going to bow out here because you both are taking from the new canon which retcons a lot of stuff, and I know very little about it because it's all absolute garbage that retcons older stuff. For example the whole "they didn't lose most of their colonies". I don't know what 343 did but in...
Basically the same only for my ship I took to paint and used each individual pixel to represent a block and then made a 2d top-down view of my ship. I then built that 2d skeleton and from them just built up/down to give it proper shape, everything after that has just been freehand. Nothing else...
As far as I know, as long as the secondary turret can freely turn itself it shouldn't interfere. So like, you'd have turret base A with turret barrel A, and then on turret base A (assuming the shape of a big battleship gun) you'd mount turret base B which then has turret barrel B.
I don't see...
I think everyone can chime in with "I want that" because they're all useful and they can all be used to great effect in building. That's why I'd ideally like to see all the variations added some day.
