What about letting a block on a rail complete circuits. That way you could have a gate, jumpdrive,or weapon that could be modded or activated/deactivated by a gap bridging rail.

It'd be nice to set it with a logic, when they are usable on the action bar, or something to start auto charging. Then you can do what ever until its done. It'd be even nicer if we could charge in combat that way, but with a higher charge cost, that plus the fact that it would be dangerous to do...

What would you suggest then? If you tell them no donations then they shut down, no rewards for donations ends the same when people stop donating. There will be a few extreme P2P/P2W servers and some of those will be the worst of the community. But most servers will be fair. We can only hope...

In advance private servers are just that, servers that are run by a private group or individual. So each will have different rules and ways of running. There are plenty of servers to play on, some will abuse the donation system, but there is nothing short of the devs making rules similar to...

Anyone know of a Technique that allows us to build weapons that are more like phaser arrays? or atleast less Big Gun, style turrets?

Yes so idea dead for the moment, can't get the blocks to work. To Rohen: We are working on a turret design to act as phaser beam arrays, if they work I"ll post a download in a seperate post. Only issue with them is turning server power and weapons up so that they work but can stay compact enough.

Well this is only something I'm working on for my groups server and might share if anyone wants it if I ever finish it. The only good thing is, everyone on the server is building Star Trek ships atm and foreseeable future. It'll just allow us to build ships with not only a combat capable load...

I don't disagree that it could be OP or abused. If I put this on my groups server I think we will need rules to help keep it balanced. Rules that keep people from over loading their ships with weapons and such, mabey even a Mass to Thrust/Shields/Weapons chart that set a cap to help keep...

I like these Ideas. Warp Cores for Power Cap/Regen with a Warp Breach installed. Jump Drive or Overdrive as Warp Speed, the left over as Slipstream. Just need a way to make a strip of Damage beams act as a Beam array... also get all this to work, lol In truth I might redo tons of the blocks...

My friends and I that play on a private server that we run love building ships with interiors, yet the interiors get in the way of power and such. Is it possible to modify or use a added block through the config or block editor to act as a more powerful power cap/reactor?
