      the spider if you use starmote to connect to a sever you will see the hidden ones, the spiders are in one of the hidden enemy factions

      Is it possible to give the database files in server/database/index/ a filename ? since the .data file seems to be a big issue when hosts try using tar to backup a server and it does not seem to be FTPable on some hosts (at least on my one :) ) as it appears to the host system as a system file

      I think that a weapon made with just a single block should be prevented shooting through the entity it's on, so we can use weapons triggered by logic as fancy decorative features without having beams poking out into space all over the place

      good work . I have used your waldo scripts on my server , one thing i think could make the install a bit easier is set the default paths in the script to ./data/script/xxxx then you can just drop all the files in the script directory and it will work If you get the database side working...

      There seems to a bug with custom npc factions at the moment. They are created as public so you can just join without admin commands, but if you leave it, it deletes the faction (same as regular factions) so you need to make an alt to remain in the faction

      i think it would be better if the core or any dedicated role classification beacon etc was to calculate what class of ship it was from the quantity of systems fitted to the ship, re calculating when the ship is either loaded or build mode is exited
