      Destroyable missiles

Make Missiles faster, but keep the slow turning arc. Means large ships firing their anti-missile phalanxes have to have very good timing, and smaller ships without anti-missile systems can still shoot/dodge them if the Pilot is quick enough :)

      Passenger /or Chair Block

Yeah, the link option allows you to choose between granting control of another block, or simply having a chair to sit in. It's good to have choice :) You should probably take a quick look at the other thread, dude.

      Passenger /or Chair Block

Unless the Space Engineers update came back in April, then no. And if the idea was implemented they way I suggest, then it would be practical as well as aesthetic. Glad you're in favour of the idea though.

      Passenger /or Chair Block

This has already been discussed pretty thoroughly in this thread: http://starmadedock.net/threads/chairs-n-viewscreens-and-stuff.75/ My personal idea was as follows:

      Automatic Salvage Storage

I'd also like to see an auto-sort button in your inventory to amalgamate duplicate entries. In the meantime, if you put a Shop block on your base, you can just drag-and-drop from your Inventory/Storage when you're in range and it automatically sorts everything for you. Set the sell price to "0"...

      Chairs n' Viewscreens... And stuff?

      Cool! Got any details? :D

      Chairs n' Viewscreens... And stuff?

Yeah, it makes sense it's just awkward on a very small ship. With the Chair linking idea implemented, you have the option to do either.

      Chairs n' Viewscreens... And stuff?

Yes, I think forcing a Player to use two blocks (or a block and a half) in addition to the space taken up by the Core would be punishing Players who want to make small ships. That's why I said there should always be the option to dissapear into the Core instead of requiring a Chair to be placed.

... until you get ambushed by a squadron of Fighters with Ion Cannons and Missiles ;)

      Automatic Salvage Storage

I think you should be able to link a Salvage Computer to aPlex Store regardless of whether it's being activated by Logic, a Bobby or the Player. Having to empty your invetory repeatedly is rather tedious.

      Volatility

It could be, if the entire array goes-up deailng explosive damage throughout the ship. Especally if you had your Core close to one of the Power blocks.

      Chairs n' Viewscreens... And stuff?

Only 'cause Pirates always come at you in groups. Dueling another Fighter-piloting Player, or having a squadron of your buddies take on a large ship is probably fun :-)

Dude, I'm not sure what you mean?

      Chairs n' Viewscreens... And stuff?

Indeed. All of my small ships (with the exception of my "escape pod") have been designed with exactly that, in the hope that someday I'll be able to put a chair in the gap. A Man can dream...

      Chairs n' Viewscreens... And stuff?

Yeah, I agree. I want this game to be visually as convincing as possible (in it's own, slightly cartoon-ish way). Allowing Players to dissapear into Cores is something I think should be kept in order to make small ships still feasible, but otherwise the Player should be a visible entity at all...

Brilliant. You've just convinced me one-shot kills can be a great idea :D

      Chairs n' Viewscreens... And stuff?

Ah, did not know that. Thanks for the info :) Unfortunately, it does make everything I suggested apart from linking Chairs to Cores and Turrets practically redundant
    18. Blodge

      Volatility

I agree for 2 reasons: 1) It gives a practical purpose to building one or more generator rooms on your ship. This makes the Player think about interior design and furthers immersion. 2) It creates a built-in downside to solid Death Cubes with no redundancy. I'm not against Death Cubes, they...

      Chairs n' Viewscreens... And stuff?

Oh really? So a Build Block attached to a Ship allows a second Player to enter Build Mode, even if the Core is already occupied? Does it not confuse the game if both Players enter Build Mode for the same structure at the same time?

      Chairs n' Viewscreens... And stuff?

Thank you. And happy to be of service :) I'm not sure about the idea of the Engineering Console. While I love the idea of a Player being able to be an actual ship's Engineer, I don't know if the ability to repair your ship mid-battle might be a bit over-powered?
