Are you kidding? How can anyone ever possibly think that deliberately lagging a server to cause players to disconect is PvP? That's just being a jackass.
The point is, totally obliterating a planet, actually shattering it rather than simply burning the surface or even melting the crust, was a crazy feat in star wars, and took a weapon of totally unprecedented size. In star made, planet-killing weapons are common and unimpressive.
Yea, if star wars was set in starmade, the death star would have been "so what, a frigate can do that" (a star wars scaled frigate, which I think is somewhere in the area of 500 meters).
Killing a planet should take something crazy huge.
Addressing you points regarding fleets:
1) you should not be able to kill an established faction when you are just starting out. That's not even remotely balanced. If I have a hundred hours worth of mining and building on a server, someone should not be able to join and destroy it all with 3...

-you hate titans
-you think everyone should just fly around frigates, corvettes, and fighters
-you want to encourage this by giving cheap little ships the ability to decimate titans with a weapon that has extreme damage and ignores shields, but is hard to hit...
You never mentioned anything about warheads not being shielded. And it would be easy to put a shield made of blast doors over a big blob of warheads on the front of a ship. Someone will do that, and it will cause massive lag.
I read the whole thread. And I think that you are going WAY overkill on buffing warheads.
They should remain a niche weapon, that can be used by someone who is willing to put in the work for a very specific application, but that will not play a large role on battlefields overall.
