A mass-based turning system is a terrible idea, things don't even work like that in the real world anyways.

Shield supply beams have already been nerfed (they only give the mothership the "under fire" recharge rate. Test it yourself if you don't believe me.
And perhaps I should clarify:
Why are EMP weapons useless? They have to work against a ship's own regen, so in order to drain the power of a ship...
So what is going to be done about the useless weapon systems that are currently in the game?

-Push Pulse
-Shield Supply
-Shield Drain
-Power Drain
-Push/Pull as passive effects
-EMP as weapon effect
Are these inevitably going to be removed?
What will/should these be replaced with?
Not sure what kind of wimpy turrets you were using, but they shouldn't be losing. Drones need engines and turrets don't, after all.
Ways to combat drones:
-Stopping weapons on turrets
-Missile+Damage Beam weapons on turrets
-amc+amc+punch through weapons on turrets
That's really all you need

There's no point in building an overdrive-only or Ion-effect-only ship because both of these are only useful in combat ships. With this nerf, combat ships simply cannot afford to use either of these because the space is better used for shields, weapons or power.

Even if the nerf was only 1/10 instead of 1/100 it would be fine, but now anyone who's built a ship in the past 5 months can throw it into the garbage and start over
There's already no room in ships when 1/5 of your ship has to be thrusters just to move at the top server speed, not to mention...

no offense but that 6k ship must have been a piece of garbage if it got beat by something half its size
Anyone who's half decent at building turrets for their ship will annihilate small drones like they're nothing

I've been going through every weapon-weapon-effect combination over the past few days and most of the stuff is correct but occasionally the power...
Protip: 75% of the stats in the structure/weapons tabs are broken or just plain wrong
For passive effects I believe it's still 1 block for every 10 mass for 100% efficiency (I may be wrong)
We also need weapon sounds and weapon impact sounds for the myriad of weapon combinations now in the game
On top of that we need weapon sprites to cast light on nearby objects
