You can (sort of) walk up slab staircases at the moment. However it's a bit hit and miss; it needs to be in 1/4 increments, and even then you can't walk up the staircase smoothly. You get stuck on edges more often then you actually walk up them.
Keep getting texture errors at 94% loading and null pointer critical errors at 99%. Is this a known issue with this version or should I submit a bug report?
In the meantime if people want a work-around, try having your transporter room as a separate docked entity. I haven't tried this myself, but it only drops the shields of the entity itself, not everything in the entity chain?

An adapter is shown in the updated video. It isn't hard to make and is a good utility to keep for people who aren't using the USD 1, but a different docking collar design on their larger ships.
On a side note, USD 1 are on the new official default spawn shops/stations. How cool is that?

Now uses mostly Hull and Armour instead of Advanced Armour. Because Jammers use energy/sec based on the mass of the ship, the ship became too heavy to support its previous speed and perma-Jammer.
