It'd be really useful for this: Because then you can just do this: (M = magnet/normal dock, R = rail) Your hardpoint is: M R R R R and so on (and at the bottom you have a remote logic block to bring it all the way up) and then on the mothership or station we have the rail dock itself. (Would...

Awww. No diagonals. Though I assume you did that because you wanted players to have a bit more flexibility in where exactly the dock is mounted. Other questions: I'm assuming the rail control is "activate a rail block to get the docked ship there." Will the rail blocks output high when the ship...

Why do we still use 3 bytes per block?

Yeah, there were 16 or 17 shape suggestions, though we only have room for about 12. Even so, 12 different shapes. Adv. build mode for selecting is a must. WASDQE rotate in adv build mode, scroll wheel and the 1 to = keys select shape.

Are the rail systems going to be literal rails? Or are they just going to be path endpoints?

      Recycling mod

Hmmm... as in, you want to turn worthless blocks (like dirt) into blocks worth stuff. That's what the trace scrap is for. 1 worthless block => 1 trace scrap 500 trace scrap => 1 of each type of capsule

Sorry I'm not sure what you mean by that.

Why do we still use 3 bytes per block?

So that would be a reverse 2-tetra. Or an octa. Whatever. Or maybe a hepta-slab.

Why do we still use 3 bytes per block?

Why do we need that? Ah that piece. Okay, what is an anti-hepta panel, as opposed to a tetra-panel or a hepta-panel?

Why do we still use 3 bytes per block?

Though I do want full shapes for the doors though. Though some shapes might not work for the doors.

Why do we still use 3 bytes per block?

I was being serious. Though hepta-panels would bring the total up to 128.(and note that you would only need hepta-panels or tetra-panels as they are the same thing. And 2-tetra and reverse-2-tetra would also only take up 8 orientations. I'm not even sure what you mean by hepta-wedge and...

Why do we still use 3 bytes per block?

      Hmmm.... how to use 128 orientations. 6 for a cube 12 for wedges = 18 8 for heptas = 26 8 for tetras = 34 24 for corners = 58 6 for half-slabs on a face = 64 12 for halfs of half-slabs = 76 8 for half-sized cubes = 84 6 for wedge panels = 90 //basically take the only sloped face on a wedge and...

Definitly improving, but still kind of bland. Try cutting out slits in the hull on along the barrel. And also put lines down the hulls of the turrets as well.

Construction ship S.R Leonard ready for deep space deployment

Nice ship. The turrets go pretty well with it. I'd say the docking platforms are a bit flat, so that's something to consider working on. Also, when I looked at the interior, the hallways seemed a bit boxy.

What specs are good or bad is really dependent on the server environment that you're using it in. The one thing I notice is your alpha-strike is much larger than your shields, so you might want to rebalance those. Here's the thing about it taking a year: YOu can do a pass in maybe a month and...
